Thank you for your answer... and levity. :) My character does actually travel in a commercial "pod" returning to Earth after an elapsed earthtime of 18 years. It is gratifying to know this, at least, makes "sense". However, at the risk of sounding stupid... I am not a mathematician in any sense...- writer

Hi! I've written a novel in which my main character travels through time (into the future) 18 years. While the concept of time travel is necessary to the plot, the details are not. Meaning, the book isn't sci-fi, but contains elements that wouldn't normally exist in a contemporary novel, so...- writer
