I have three questions which I gave my answers to, please can someone tell me if I am correct, thanks:
1. What happens to the wavelength of a wave on a string when the frequency is doubled?

A: Wavelength = V / f so, if frequency is doubled then wavelength is halved correct?

2. What happens to the speed of a wave on a string when the frequency is doubled?

A: V = (f)(wavelength),so if frequency is doubled, speed is also doubled correct?

3. If a clock were running slow, how could one adjust the length of the pendulum to correct the time.
A: shorten the length of the pendelum, correct?

Rethink #2. What determines the speed of a wave on a string? Does the speed depend upon the frequency of the wave?
