i'm sure some of you are familiar with a gauss rifle. i'm doing an expirment using the magnets and marbles. does this at all relate to the gauss rifle guns.thanks

What is it, like a rail gun??

"Gauss" is the unit of measurement of magnetic flux density. In this case, it's basically a nickname for any gun using an electromagnetic launcher.

so does the electromagnetic rifle use the same concept as teh guass rifle involving magnets and marbles
