Pffft, amateurs. You use one of those sports bottles, one with a rope to wrap around your neck, and that has one of those pop-lid things. Fill one of those things up with vodka and you're good to go

Of course it is, but this is GD! If you don't explicitly state what you are talking about then we will try to twist it around as much as possible. And if you do state everything explicitly then we will make fun of you or twist the thread around anyway

I think my shower is drunk, all it will do is dribble and make rude noises, the last time i tried to use it it sent the plumbing into a methane event like frenzy for 10 minutes.

Drinking booze makes more sense than drinking shower water* :yuck:

I'm so sick of these ambiguous homework problems!

*Yes, it's just tap water, but I don't drink tap water

Actually, I really meant drinking rum.

And as for being watered down, you put the bottle down on a ledge out of the way of the stream, and just holding it when you're drinking from it.

Or put the bottle in a rack under the shower head and drink through a flexible straw.

I have to admit that I thought you just meant the shower water too. I can see sipping a drink while soaking in the tub, but while standing in the shower? Man, if you can't wait until you get out of the shower to have a drink, that's some drinking problem!

Drinking in the shower could be a bad idea. It depends on what you are drinking. The heat of the shower and the steam could make you pass out when combined with alcohol. Maybe that's why the OP gets a kick out of it. One step closer to unconciousness?

Oh mama, in the summertime when it's really hot and I've had a long day there is nothing like taking an ice cold beer into a steaming hot shower. I swear you come out totally refreshed and ready to sleep like a baby. Come to think of it, I am going to do it tonight!

:tongue2: Okay sisters, front row seats: $10, standing room by the door: $2, thoughts of Tom in the shower: priceless.

After a long, hot day, I don't need a drink to come out of the shower ready to sleep like a baby. Heck, it's usually all I can do to muster the energy to not fall asleep standing up in the shower.

I've never drunk in the shower, but once, when I was crawling on all fours toward some indistinct light in the distance, stopping occasionally to take a sip from a bottle of applejack I'd made myself from a crate of old apples pulled from a dumpster in back of a corner market, a sudden clap of thunder alerted me to the fact it was about to rain. Hitting the gas, I made for cover under a tall, widely spread, protective tree of some sort. Once under the aegis of it's thickly leaved limbs, I experienced far less of a moisture problem and lay there listening to the relaxing sound of the firehose-like torrent of water issuing down from the dark night sky all around me, sipping the tangy beverage at my leisure.

Some sort of voltage problem developed, apparently, because later in the scenario the tree trunk against which I was sitting detonated as if it were TNT and I was briefly aware that I was experiencing ballistic motion, as described so well by Galileo. I don't recall the exact circumstances under which this came to an end, but the EMT said something to his partner about my being lucky I was under the influence and all loose and relaxed when I landed. Regardless, I was quite black and blue in many places, and sore. At the hospital they provided me with vicadin and a proper shower.

Does that count?

It must not have worked too well because the residual cig was just about .25% smoked.

If we were, don't you think we'd be married already? I know too many people who put getting married ahead of finding the right partner, and now they're all getting unmarried. It seems important enough to take one's time and do it right the first time. :approve: My grandmother always told me I was too picky, but it's not like she did her grandmotherly job of finding other grandmothers with nice, rich doctor grandsons to fix me up with.

I'm sure there is someone out there, just have to stumble into him. I do know that I'm very impressed with all the young men around here, so if I had been 15 years younger...

I'm sure there are at least a few good fish that got away or were thrown back when they were younger and not quite ready for catching yet.
