What are the products of caffeine & dichloromethane?

I think caffeine is acting as the acid, and dichloromethane as the base. So, the caffeine is releasing H+ into the solution.

So would the equation be:

C8H10O2N4 + CH2Cl2 --> C8H9O2N4+ + (I have no clue what the dichloromethane turns into) :confused:

Dichloromethane is not a base.

Caffeine is soluble in dichloromethane. I don't think any reaction occurs.
