1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
Find a basis of the null space N(A)\subsetR^5 of the matrix
A=
1 -2 2 3 -1
-3 6 -1 1 -7
2 -4 5 8 -4
\inM3x5(R)
and hence determine its dimension
2. Relevant equations
3. The attempt at a solution
So do i need to find the x that satisfies Ax=0 and that x is the null space? Then how do i find a basis of this null space?
