Using a slingshot, the boy fires the 0.3 lb marble at the concrete wall, striking it at point B.
If the coefficient of restitution between the marble and the wall is e= 0.6, determine the magnitude of the speed of the marble after it rebounds from the wall.

initial velocity is 75 ft/s

Help please! I don't even know where to start!

Hi tonchik! Welcome to PF!

Start by writing the standard constant acceleration equations for the x and y directions (separately), to find the velocity at B.

What do you get?
