if a charging a capacitor of capacitance of 1 farad with resistance of 30 ohm
will it charge faster or discharge faster.

thanks in advance

Both processes take infinitely long time theoretically.

yes but with respect to each other there must be a difference

It discharges and charges at the same rate.

What is the context of your question? Is there a more complete problem statement? Are you familiar with how to solve the differential equation for the (dis)charging time of an RC system?

yes i know how to derive these equation for charging and discharging

The charging and discharging rate are proportional to the charging and discharging currents respectively. Your problem is incompletely specified.

yes i know how to derive these equation for charging and discharging

Then what is the time constant in the case of charging? What about in the case of discharging? It has to do with the value of R and C, correct?
