The new job means I can cycle about 10mi each way to work.
Ok so I did buy a shiny new bike (although only carbon forks - but it does have hydraulic disk brakes) and I only bought it so I wouldn't wear out my nice road bike.

I did ask my wife about mid-life crisis, Porsches and mistresses - and apparently I'm allowed to look at Porsches all I want!

A few years back I cycled to work for a year. Probably the best I could have done! Now I work from home, so the motivation really isn't there....
