World Clock (http://www.poodwaddle.com/worldclock.swf)

Under menu, you can select; year, month, day, week, now (resets stats to 0)

Under "More" category, sobering to watch our US national Debt climb.
Under "US Crimes" category, identity theft is the most rapidly growing.
Under "Illness" category, respiratory infection far outstrips others, didn't know this.

P.S. Enjoy... Have fun, be creative. Maybe someone can name the Sci-Fi movie in the last 15 years that showed something similar to this, it was a globe with popups of stats of countries of interest. This clock reminded me of this. I remember it was a CIA tool to get a snapshot of the health/demographic etc... of a countries population and details as needed at a glance. Check out the other free apps there as well.

That ID theft counter under US Crimes is a load of BS ain't it? At the rate that's going up nearly a third of the US will have had their ID's hijacked by then end of the year. (That or there's one really unlucky b*****d out there.)

I also can't believe how long I've spent watching the extinction counter, just waiting for it to increase...

Desertification, what a shame. Now I think it's time for ice cream!

I also can't believe how long I've spent watching the extinction counter, just waiting for it to increase...Funny how they don't count all of the new species found every day.

I am so NOT into this kind of thing.
