Forces in walking

I am looking to find out what forces are involved in the contact between just your feet and the floor. I believe there are the two vertical forces the normal and the weight, but how would you describe the 2 horizontal forces? push and friction? :confused:

Yes. Your foot pushes back against the friction of the floor.
