A ball is traveling with constant speed hits the pins placed at the end of a bowling lane 16.5 m long. The bowler heard the sound of the ball hitting the pins 2.5 s after the ball was released from his hands. The speed of sound is 340 m/s. What was the speed of the ball.

You are given the total time T, let the time for the ball to get to the pins be Tb, let the time for sound to return be Ts

So we have T = Tb +Ts

But we know that velocity is Distance/Time.
