I've noticed alot of people here posting equations with integral signs, and greek symbols. however, how do you do this? obviously they arent' on anyones key board.

Since English pronounciation is different from Greek, you should take a look to this web: http://www.ibiblio.org/koine/greek/lessons/alphabet.html to know how to pronouce properly.
