Mongiardo has won Kentucky almost definately.
43% in and a 53-47 lead, I'd be really surprised if Mongiardo doesn't win.
Actually, that's kind of a sad race. Just like a true baseball player, Bunning hung around too long - it's getting pretty obvious he shouldn't be holding public office anymore.

Two more senate winners have been called : McCain and Feingold
This thread pretty much died during the night.
Colorado's Senate race turned out good. I hated to see Ben Nighthorse Campbell retire, but putting Pete Coors up as the Republican candidate was pretty much a statement that it doesn't matter who you put up as candidate as long as he's Republican. No political experience, little substance in public appearances. His only asset was that he'd fill a seat and vote straight down the Republican line.
It was good to see him lose, just on principle. It seems too many candidates are nothing more than an advertising prop.

The thread had little to sustain it. The house was lost (I'm a little liberal, you see) before it started and the senate race was hardly a race all. There were some unexpected victories, most of them for the GOP, there were a few close races (like SD) that went on for a while, but most of them went the way of the Obama-Keyes kayo.
In Ohio, that lousy slime-ball, Voinovich won easily, as feared.
