I just went and bought Passion of the Christ and watched it. I'm a bit confused though, when does he get a lightsaber?

It's in a different language than the one I speak, but I think I got the gist of it. There's this young jedi but none of the other jedi will let him play in their jedi games. and they tease him all the time, but he's part Klingon so no matter what they do to him he can take it. Then he gets a magic wooden helmet and a giant sword made out of oak and when he puts on the helmet he jacks into the matrix. Then the other jedi's decide to become his friend but he's stuck in the matrix, so they write him a note to tell him when he wakes up and they nail the note to the oak sword, then so he doesn't lose it they nail the sword to him too. But he isn't really in the matrix, he's travelling through time and comes out in the future without his clothes on, just like a terminator. And he says I'll be back and walks off stage to get some clothes.

I've never seen it. I don't think King of Kings starring Jeffrey Hunter who was the original captain of the Enterprise (before Captain Kirk on Star Trek) can be beat.

LOL! I haven't seen it yet, but your description gives me a whole different perspective for watching it. I was somewhat avoiding it due to it's religious nature, but since you've now shown me how truly secular it is, that it's really just science fiction, maybe I'll have to watch it.

I just took my copy of Passion down to Bookmans and traded it in. I got the first two seasons of South Park instead. I like that Jesus better.

Sweet move, dude. I would have gotten Family Guy, personally.

I have not seen that film. Were I to actually leave my house to see a film, I would want to see something more timely and upbeat, maybe Apocalypse Now, the uncut version, or The Deer Hunter, perhaps Full Metal Jacket.

As a student of non-theological determinism trying to follow the guidelines set forth by Newton and Laplace, I didn't see it. Also, I will not eat green eggs and ham.

Yeah, with a name like "The Passion", you'd think it was a B-grade porn-flick.

Mel Gibson is on screwed up individual.
I haven't seen The Passion and I don't intend to.
So many people preach from seeing that, but Mel Gibson has twisted many things within the sciptures of the bible.
I'm an atheist, but it does get to me that people just lap any crap up from stars.
He is a severe nut job and because he's a star people haven't intervened and sent him to a mental asylum.

Exactly. Well, it really depends on what the other stuff is.
