SUMMARY

The discussion revolves around a hypothetical scenario involving a 1-liter bottle of water (H2O) where 2/3 of the water is consumed, followed by the introduction of 2/3 of a liter of urine back into the bottle. Participants conclude that since urine is composed of approximately 99% water, the final composition of the bottle remains 100% water. The key takeaway is that the water content lost through the body is negligible in this scenario.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of basic fluid dynamics
  • Knowledge of the composition of human urine
  • Familiarity with percentage calculations
  • Basic principles of conservation of mass
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the composition of urine and its implications for hydration
  • Explore fluid dynamics in biological systems
  • Learn about the conservation of mass in closed systems
  • Investigate the effects of hydration on human physiology
USEFUL FOR

This discussion is beneficial for students in biology, health professionals, and anyone interested in understanding hydration and fluid balance in the human body.

you have thus far drank nothing.

you have a 1 liter bottle of water(H2O),
you are now drinking,
and you have finished exactly 2/3 of the water(H2O),
now here is the triky part,

you piss 2/3 of a liter of piss back into the bottle,
now how much of the water content was lost through your body, AKA, what percent of the water bottle is piss and what percent of the water bottle is water.

1.U're lucky this part of the forum is not moderated. :-p
2.HINT:99% of the anyone's piss is water...

Daniel.

answer?:I'm going to say if you took in 2/3 of a liter and returned 2/3 of a liter it must be pure water and therefore the bottle is 100%water.[/color]
