Okay, it is raining like crazy here in the desert so I'm spending the weekend bottled up inside. I just went and bought a Jack in the Box "Bruschetta Chiabatta" value meal with a Dr. Pepper. three previously viewed dvds from Hollywood video "Shreck 2" "Dodgeball" and "I,robot" I also bought a bottle of Grey goose vodka ($27.99 what a rip off). Can you think of anything else I may need before I open up the vodka?

YUCK!! the chiabatta tastes like crap. I highly recommend staying away from them if you ever go to Jack in the Box. Looks like Papa Johns is gonna have to deliver.

DAMN! I'm a bachelor, i don't have any small glasses. I only have big jack in the box/big gulp/thirst quencher cups. can't drink vodka out of a 44oz cup now can I?

Feb19-05, 05:26 PM
I gotta say, I'm not a drinker. I'm not anti drinking or anything like that, I just don't drink very often. This Grey Goose is so good. I might try becoming an alcoholic just for the hell of it. It is so much NOT rubbing alcohol flavored like cheap vodka is. lol I've had 2 sips and already my cheeks are warm. so is my face

thank you very much. I'm getting hungry already. How does this stove thing work again? I'll bet if I put the microwave in the oven I could pop some popcorn super fast.

tribdog
Feb19-05, 05:38 PM
nevermind, who's idea was it that popcorn needs to be cooked? tastes *crack* pretty good *snap* right out of the bag.

signs of alcohol taking effect: remembering commercial snap crackle pop, but thinking crack snapple stop.

okay, went to the store and stocked up on things I might need. hot n spicy pork rinds, tostitos scoops and salsa con queso and a pint of ben and jerry's butter pecan.

I've never tried Grey Goose, but I've got Absolut. Considering I don't drink it straight, the difference would probably be too subtle to notice in a mixed drink. I do know there is quite a difference in taste of different brands of gin...I've got my Beefeater and because it's too expensive to buy much of or often, a small bottle of Bombay Sapphire for the occasional martini.

MIH, I'm glad you thought to call the ER ahead of time. You wouldn't want them to send any of the staff home early while tribdog is getting liquored up.

Wait! Was that before or after you started drinking? And when you said you finished the first glass, you weren't talking about that big cup you had from Jack in the Box, were you?

Will someone check on tribdog, make sure he's just passed out and still breathing? If he's passed out, roll him on his side please. We don't need him to choke on his own vomit or anything. Boy, he sure is a lightweight when it comes to drinking.

No worries. I talked to the nurse on duty and she said the liquor store had already called them to give warning.

I'm sure the whole town must have a warning system in place for occassions like this. Afterall, the repercussions could be catastrophic!

Mmmhhh Grey Goose vodka... I am used to drinking the cheap and disugsting $ 10 a handle substance that is supposive vodka, but it does the treat. What is your favorite cheap drink?

LOL! There have been plenty of times I've gone out with a group of people to a bar and decided to just get coffee. If I'm sitting in a dimly lit place just chatting with people, I'm going to fall asleep if I drink alcohol. Or maybe I'm just a boring person.

tribdog, are you okay? *shoves bottle of extra strength Excedrin and big cup of coffee into tribdog's computer* If you were really drinking vodka all night, you're going to need those.

In the special features of dodgeball you have to watch "Justin Long: A Study in Ham & Cheese" I think I may have actually wet myself while watching it. :yuck:
