I think it'll be good if when i am an undergrad and i can work at least in some kinda science related field part time to pay the bills (during the holidays). What "career" options are there and how good is the pay and working hours usually?

Most easy way out is probably tutoring in some private school or at your university. I did that during college and it was a very good pay. 15 euro's per hour and your work schedule is very flexible

Well, my sister is just working at the physics lab, doing the dirty work/making sandwiches for the grad students :D lol. She is making 9 an hour. She is getting experience though which is worth more than the extra money you would get somewhere else.
