I hear he has a 5 week PhD candidacy exam beginning next week, which sounds pretty intense. So I think we should give him some happy thoughts!

Account no man happy till he dies.
- Euripides

Er, wait, I can do better.

We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.
- Jason Kidd, upon his drafting to the Dallas Mavericks

 I just thought that was funny.

This isn't right, this isn't even wrong.
- Wolfgang Pauli, upon reading a young physicist's paper

Eh, I'm not good at motivational quotes.

If you are going through hell, keep going.
- Sir Winston Churchill

Never take the advice of someone who has not had your kind of trouble.
- Sidney J. Harris

Okay, I don't know what you're going through. But I can cheer!

C'mon Gokul, you can do it - You put a lotta blood, sweat, tears, and the best years of your life into it!! Go get 'em, Tiger!

The most important thing to remember is that when it's done, you can sleep for a whole day and then PARTY!

I just thought of a surefire strategy: If you get into trouble, just start yelling, "π/2!! The answer is π/2!!!" They may have read the comic, start laughing, and forget all about it.

"Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now."
"When everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane"

I'm sure you'll be successful anyway! Just do your best and then you'll have enough time to enjoy your life in the future. And don't worry, we'll try to forgive you because of your absence for a short period! o:)

I saw a greeting card that said, "If you leave everything until the last minute, it only takes a minute to do." :approve:

No no

I know the answer! The answer lies within the heart of all mankind! The answer is twelve?

The "right" answer in such a circumstance is of course "Canada". Try to enjoy it & kick some butt, you sure don't have much need for luck. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y83/millenniumfreaks/smileys/happy/happy72.gif

You can always try this:

GOKUL's aim is to spread the message of Transcendental Divine Love of God introduced by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu using the method taught by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Goswami. In short GOKUL means Love for Krishna and Love to all living beings in relation to Sri Krishna.

For the welfare of all mankind, Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has advised us to chant the Holy Name of Sri Krishna Nama-sankirtan. So, let us first offer all respects to Sri Krishna Chaitanya, Who takes the Name of Sri Krishna, Who first introduced Sri Krishna Nama-sankirtana, Who is the bliss of all in the yajna (sacrifice) of Nama-sankirtana,Who is the magnet attracting all, Who is the compassionate one, Who is the ideal example of Krishna prema (love of Krishna) and Who savours the nectar of the highest degree of spirituality.

"I don't believe in getting cocky. Stay humble." ~ Cassius Clay

"The first step is the hardest, now we can relax." ~ Christie McCullough, teacher/astronaut/world record high diver

"You may assume you are overprepared, but you know what they say: 'there is no "I" in a-s-s-u-m-e.'" ~Confucious

Wow, Gokul, that's stupor!

Now, who are you again, and more importantly, are you eligible for guru awards this year?

Gokul43201
Nov16-05, 06:16 PM
No, as I mentored during the period in question, I should not be eligible.

As for the less important question, I refuse to get into a philosophical discussion.
