Registered mail with signature confirmation, this proves that it was received, it's also less expensive than UPS, FED Ex, etc...

Is it the safest though...

Unless you want to hire an armored car to personally drive it there.

And that would cost how much?

Make copies of the certificates, and you can make a big deal of showing them to the mail clerk when you put them into the envelope. You can insure the package for the value of the stocks, you will have the contents of the package listed on your receipt.

Hey, for enough money, I will come pick them up and drive them to wherever they're going. :-p

Your title was misleading, Pengwuino, it sounded like you were submitting a scientific paper to a journal, I was all set to congratulate you. :frown:
Anyone, stop being a baby and drive the thing there yourself if you're so worried about it.
