Greetings. Thank you for posting. I'm going through some changes and developing new programs and algorithms to control suspended loads. I've seen your post regarding the guy who wanted to know if the motor he had was enough to support and raise a load. In this you back calculated the torque needed using the drum diameter, but you did not consider the rope diameter as an addition to the drum diameter. He stated nylon tape, which I'm not sure what that really is, so I'm stating rope as the suspension medium.
