I have seen many a red tide come in as I used to live on the coast in California. Red tide is used or has been used to suggest the water has a high bacterial content. The definition may have changed over the years. Is it a new strain of red tide that has developed an ability to emit a blue light? Let's be skeptical here and try to understand this phenomenon.
