Thats how you get into upper management. Completely screw everything up so they promote you to a position where you can do more damage.

I've never heard of a "Doctorate of Engineering" before. Maybe its because I live in the US but all schools I have looked at only offer PhDs in Engineering and thats it.

According to wiki, Doctorates of Engineering are given out at "many US universities."
