Can the magnetic wave have an influence on the electric wave?

Welcome to PF;
The two components of the EM wave are generated from the same source - they are two parts of the same thing like the heads and tails of a coin. So they do not interact when the wave is in transit. Was there a particular situation you were thinking about? |
