LC circuit with air core inductor

Hi,

I was just wondering if someone could point in the right direction to find formulas to calculate the natural resonant frequency of an LC oscillator circuit that uses and air core coil rather than a metal one.

Thanks :-)

Its the same formula. Makes no difference whether the coil is air core or ferrite. Inductance is inductance.

Maybe the OP is wondering how to wind an air core inductor in order to get to a target inductance.
