horizontal projectile question
1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
a person sstanding on a cliff throws a stone with a stone horizontal velocoty of 15.0m/s and the stone lands on the ground 47.0m from the base of the cliff. a. how much time does it take for the stone to hit the ground? b. how high was the cliff? c.what is the impact velocite of the stone(magnitude and derection) 2. Relevant equations V = Vo + at X = Xo + Vot + 1/2at^2 v^2= Vo^2 + 2a(change in)X 3. The attempt at a solution lookin at how to do this thanks |
