Ground State of electrons

1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
How many unpaired electrons are present in each of these species and what is the ground state?
Given:1s2 2s2 3p1

2. Relevant equations
none

3. The attempt at a solution
what is the ground state? I can find the number of unpaired electrons.
