Force of tension?? WHAT?!!
1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
16. The mass of the block on the end of the string is 5.0 kg. The tension in the horizontal cable is 15.0 N. Determine the tension in the cable attached to the ceiling. I know that force of tension is The force felt by a rope or cable that transmits another force and a force is a push or a pull or interaction between 2 or more objects. but is there a formula or something? Determine the measure of the angle between the ceiling cable and the vertical. please help asap, i have finals soon and need help!! ![]() i know that to find an angle you can measure it, but is there a specific formula for doing it in physics? |

If the tension in the cable attached to the ceiling is at an angle [itex]\theta[/itex] to the ceiling. Can you resolve the tension in vertical and horizontal components?
