You might want to have access to a site that allows you to convert latex code to png images for a while, such as:
http://hausheer.osola.com/latex2png LaTeX is actually a document presentation system, and you generally create dvis and so on. |

I just have TeXnicCenter and MiKTeX installed (you can google these; apparently I need 15 posts to post URLs!)
