It has got to be roadkill.

The sound of a fully tuned petrol engine under load and accelerating away...

V8, top fuel, two-stroke twin, big single... anything with a real snort!

Nothing better :-)

Landscapes (especially those containing a body of water).

The answer is it depends...

At this time of my life, I have not met her yet...

Nice answer, wasteofo2.

George Harrison complained that his songs were often passed over for album consideration by Lennon and McCartney.

In my high-school days, it was a tight spiral pass with no wobble, with perfect wind compensation, laid right into my outstretched hands such that I did not have to break stride.

I can see why, Harrison was just too good, they couldn't let him get all the fame.

Nearly all of them. Similar to weighing feminine beauty there is much to appreciate.

I find beauty in many things. I like many of the answers already given, (I've never seen Tsunami's right, large toe, so I cannot comment on that. )

I like the song "While my Guitar Gently Weeps" I also like their song "Something", also by Harrison.

At the risk of sounding shallow (or a perv), what I consider the most beautiful thing is the nude female form (I don't mean in a sexual way). There are so many beautiful fluid lines, subtile textures and delicate color in the human body (doesn't matter if they are fat or thin or somewhere in between.)

I have a theory that we like things (subconsciously) that relfect on the 'female form' :D

The most beautiful thing? Women, what else is there

People smiling. One of my friends has a great smile and I am glad that I can make her smile often.

That would be the second most beautiful thing. The first would be able to understand them.

found this on slashdot. I looked at it and I found it to be the most beautiful art I've seen in a long long time (well, I'm only 17 so long long time might not be too long to people older than dirt)
