i need to understand "view factor" in heat transfer(radiation),
can any one give me some documents that has some description
about "view factor"?

In layman's terms, the view factor is a just a coefficient that is used to account for radiative heat transfer only having an affect on a portion of the surface area of an object. This is usually caused by geometry or obstructions between the receiving surface and the source.
