Unwinding because It's SaTuRdAy NiGhT!

Well, actually, it's friday. And yeah, just in case: http://xkcd.com/238/

What is everyone up to this weekend? Have your own relaxing routine? I'm doing my usual rounds on the forum before having some food and hitting the games consoles - nothing better than destressing from a week of work with a stressful session of Demon's Souls. (I go outside sometimes too, but that's reserved for special occasions! :) )

Physics news on Phys.org

Reading. Also my wife and I are going to see Avatar on the iMax if it isn't sold out.

Tiding my office for a meeting next week.

Evo would not like my office.

I'm baby-sitting my dog while my wife heads into town to baby-sit her mother with senile dementia. I've been cooking suppers for the last couple of days, so I'll have a little break from that, and clean up some left-overs tonight and tomorrow. Nothing too earth-shattering... I'll probably watch Babylon 5 on DVD for a while, tend the wood-stove and hit the sack early. Temps are slamming down to 0 now, and will be below 0 all night, so Duke and I will just settle in.

I am going to enjoy an evening with my wife. We're going to make some variety of fish tonight (any ideas?).

Monday through Thursday I go straight from work to class, so Fridays are a nice break for me. Tomorrow I have studying to do and I'll probably break my sessions up with some exercise and tasks around the house. Sunday I'll be doing our taxes.

I'm going to have a bonfire tonight, and maybe howl at the moon. I have a gallon of Apple pie shots, and 4 bottles of cherry wine.

Going to Ottawa or Montrael to party the weekend away for my birthday.

I'll be at work Saturday night, at least until 9pm. After that, sleep, because I work the next morning.

Fun stuff!

My wife predicts that we will go to Mitsuwa in Edgewater, NJ this weekend for food shopping. She's batting 1.000 on these predictions. I love going up there so I can get a bowl of ramen noodles.

Watching Transformers 2. Should probably take the Christmas lights down...but it's kinda cold out.

It's starting to snow where I am. Time to make some snowmen!

I'll second that! Howling at the moon around a bonfire sounds fun.

What I'll actually be doing is going to a small retirement party at a friend's house. Good food, drinks, and fun conversation.

Duke and I went for a long walk under the largest, brightest full moon of the year. It was a nice walk, though very cold, with howling winds and below-0 temps.

I'll have to spend most of the weekend studying.

I went to a specialist today that saw one of my medical reports and asked what was being done, and I said nothing, my doctor thinks since it's not getting worse it's ok. He said, well, it's not getting worse, but you're still dieing. :frown:

I guess I need another opinion.
