converting angular momentum into power

So if I wanted to develop a system where angular momentum is transferred to power, how would that work? The actual conversion of angular momentum to power. I'm going to try to figure it out through physics but can someone put it into words. In the literal how would something that spins power a light bulb. Is that clear?
