Motor for robotic therapeutic suit for the legs
we are in need of a suitable motor that can be used for our thesis. We need a motor that will not be destroyed even though we apply a resistive force to the rotation of the motor. Do we need to apply gears? thanks! :D

Have you looked into pneumatics or hyrdraulics?

For an electric motor you could use a controller/etc to make sure it doesn't get overloaded.
If overloading is only a rare accident, then you could use something like an MCB or other over-current cut-out. |
