Why is it supposed to be as the cars power output?
ie, How did you come up with that scenario. Is it an official Toyota performance scenario, for the Prius? What you have shown is that a car that weighs nearly 1.8 tons cannot accelerate up a 1:5 hill at 0.18g at 60mph with the power output of a Prius. Which I would say is probably right. Did you make up the scenario? |

Total power available is obtained by adding the power from the engine and the power from the motors.
