The discussion focuses on creating the number 21 using the numbers 1, 5, 6, and 7 through basic arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Participants emphasize that each number can only be used once and that no tricks or combinations of digits are allowed. A successful solution presented is 6 divided by the difference of 1 and 5 divided by 7, which simplifies to 21. The response to this solution highlights appreciation for the creativity and correctness of the approach, particularly noting the contributor's impressive first post.

Make the number 21 using the numbers:
1, 5, 6, 7

you can use:
addition, subtraction, multipliaction and division

I promise you it is straight forward maths and NO tricks... you can only use each number once and you can't use say 15 (the 1 and the 5 together) and you can't do like 5^6 or anything.
