Do threads get locked for bad language? If not how much can i get away with before the whatever thread gets locked?

There is a filter that blocks out most bad words. Like typing the name of the physicist Lif****z, is not allowed and will get you banned. :-p

That's pretty funny. I wonder why that is? On my own rating scale of cuss words, I would rank a$$ as stronger than sh*t.
