    And you seem not to allow for the possibility that ambiguity is in your perception, not intrinsic. And how is the quoted post a complaint? I am mocking myself , not complaining. How about then, for consistency-sake eliminating ambiguity from your own posts, e.g. flat bed truck? ss.

    My comments are more meant as pointing out possible ambiguities, not as criticisms. And there is , IMO, a reasonable time and place for being precise in the areas of grammar and linguistic logic, and a whimsical thread like this one is not one of them. I am not, in this thread, aiming for neither. Instead,

    I am aiming for whimsy -- in a whimsical thread, and I ocassionally engage in somewhat serious exchanges. But then again, I am pretty sure you will not allow for the possibility that it may be just your perception and that my posts are not ( at least intended as) complaints. Fire first and ask later, I guess
