Abstracted Universes

Just learning how the world works; literally, in a manner of speaking. I'm interested in developing my perception of our universe and learning more about how it can be manipulated. My primary interests are very Sci-Fi-y and are really more about the development of not only the way we understand our universe, but also of out ability to manipulate our universe. The subject I'm always thinking about is the manipulation of space on the most fundamental level. Not just pulling and pushing at it, but also molding it. Using our knowledge of its properties, and adequately advanced technology, to change existence.
