Newton's laws--Block sliding up a frictionless semi-circular track
If the vx were the same, the smaller block couldn't move in x-direction in respect to the larger block. But the smaller block does indeed move in x-derection when following the circular curve.I hope that makes sense to you.- Ahzmandius

Engineering Calculating maximum flux density
After 1/100 s you make a full circle -> 360° Now you can calculate how long you need for 1° respectively 150° etc. For 150° you''ll get the 25/6 ms For the 30° it's the same approach.- Ahzmandius

High School Harmonic oscillator and simple pendulum time period
The force applied to the mass is the same no matter how long it is (at least for small angles), so the tangential velocity is the same too. The angular velocity is not the same because of: w = v/L The angular velocity for a longer L is less, and for a shorter L more. You need more time to pass...- Ahzmandius

Undergrad Can Magnets Provide Infinite Energy for Weight Training?
Two things to clarify here: Energy conservation is not about the amount of energy, but what happens to the energy over time. Mathematically -> dE/dt = 0. Energy conservation does only apply in isolated systems (neither a transfer of energy nor a transfer of matter is allowed) In particular...- Ahzmandius
