High School Why is Derivative of 2pie=0 and not 2
Dear People, This might be a really dumb question. Please don't kill me for asking The derivative of f(x)=2x F'(x)=2 Can someone elaborate why derivative of 2pie=0 I'm thinking that 2pie is the same as 2x(x replaces pie) and thus the derivative would be 2 but the answer is zero...- albert2008

Even, Odd,or Neither Odd or Even Function
Dear People, I'm sorry to put up such an easy question. But would someone please explain a little further. h(x)=2x-x2 h(-x)=2(x)-(-x)2 = -2x-x2 Since h(-x) doesn't equal h(x) and h(-x) doens't equal -h(x), we conclude that H is neither even nor odd. I would have put that this fuction...- albert2008

Undergrad Understanding the Equation Y/L =(K/L)^α (E)^1-α
Dear People would someone be able to explain in more detail this problem. I can't follow the answer. a=alpha (its a superscript) Y/L =(K/L)^α (E)^1-α These are steps to get to final answer Y/L=K^a/L^-a * E/E^a Step 1 - rewrite Y=K^a/L^a * EL/E^a Step2 multiply by L How did...- albert2008

How Does Dividing Both Sides by (Y/L)α Transform the Production Function?
Dear People, This is Production Function and it comes from my economics book. The equation is saying that output per worker (Y/L) is equal to capital per worker (K/L) times the efficiency of labor (E) where alpha is a parameter between zero and one. The chapter is explaining the equation. I...- albert2008
