How does one become a quantum physicist/chemist?
Recently I've decided I want to become a physicist. I will be entering college this fall (at a below average college) and hope to do well. My only problem being is my intelligence. As the first day of college approaches, I've began to worry about whether or not I'll be able to succeed with...- Alex1

Graduate Black Hole Information Loss Question
Haha Damn lmao that would suck good thing they don't. So basically the tachyon is really just a solution to an obsolete bosonic string theory? -

Undergrad Are Black Holes Really Black and Just Holes?
Are Black Holes 2 Dimensional? And if so does that mean that when a 3 dimensional object is sucked into one that it is somehow reassembled as a 2 dimensional object and it's 3D characteristics are ripped from it and left to hover the black hole?- Alex1

Calculus 1 (I'm taking the class in a week.)
How long does it take to teach yourself to learn calculus? I just graduated high school and have taken up to pre calc. It's summer now and I've recently started going to the library to try and learn more physics. Is it possible that I could have a strong foundation and the knowledge that would...- Alex1

So You Want To Be A Physicist Discussion
What's up everyone, I was wondering how difficult it is to get a B.S. in physics at an average college. I've always been interested in science and in the past years I've been very interested in physics, specifically black holes. I have not had the best work ethic in high school. I consider...- Alex1
