Homework Statement
I am given 5 frequencies but I would like to know how to calculate the power level for both ears just for one of the frequencies (1000Hz) to get a general idea for the rest. In this experiment, we used audio headsets and recorded the voltage and resistance for the left ear...
Homework Statement
Given that we are working with biological samples of 5 and 10cm, is our assumption that the equation N = No e¯kt
represents the radiation strength accurate? Explain.
Homework Equations
N = No e¯kt
The Attempt at a Solution
I'm completely stuck but...
I believe it...
Homework Statement
A particular object weighs 313 N in air and 254 N when immersed in alcohol of density 0.7 g/cm3. What are the volume and the density of the object?
Homework Equations
D=m/vL
The Attempt at a Solution
I found the volume by: 313-254 N to find the actual weight, then I divided...
First of all, thank you for your contribution.
Unfortunately my textbook does not include a solutions manual so I can only try, then hope for the best. My professor said we would have a question similar to this one on a test which is why I'm freaking out.
The grating constant is 1.6555x10^-6m
Homework Statement
If "d" is the grating constant, determine the ruling (number of lines/grooves per meter) "D"
Homework Equations
I have spent hours researching sites that are far too complicated for my understanding of physics. As a result the only relevant equation I could remotely relate...
Only problem is, I've only been taught to solve with algebra. It tried putting x=0 and solve for x, z = 0 and solve for z, then sub in x and z into equation 2 and try to solve for k, but it's no good!
Oh and all three planes when using n1 x n2 • n3 must equal 0 and be coplanar. If it does not equal 0, then it intersects at a single point. Again, I just don't know how to find K. I've tried dot product, linear equations, etc
No, no meaning for caps.
I actually did consider them. My problem is, what do I do with that idea? How do I solve k based on that? Like I've tried everything and I'm just about to break because I need to know this. My teacher has never given us a question like this so I feel rather hopeless...

I really need help. All the information is on that link.
I've spent 30 minutes or so trying to figure this out but I can't and I'm starting to get really upset.
If you guys can find the value of k, I can take it from...
