Schools What are the deadlines for US PhD admissions for Spring semester?
Thanks for the link. Yes I am not. I have been looking at universities individually. Visited more than a hundred US university website, most of the deadlines I saw where on Dec or early Jan, and barely no one was offering spring admission. I was thinking of applying for Msc in Europe. But it...- Andromeda9010

Schools What are the deadlines for US PhD admissions for Spring semester?
I had a presumption that PhD admissions happen all year. Apparently I was wrong, and this could cost me. I am going to take the physics GRE on march and the general GRE probably after that. This means if I want to get admitted for a university on fall semester, I will have to wait about two...- Andromeda9010

Other Searching for jobs in the USA, should I quit?
Me too, I know people who waited three years to get a decent job related to what they studied in university. (If you think about it, this is my reason to search for a job outside my country!) But, this is not the point. I have been taught in school by foreigners, even though there are...- Andromeda9010

I am very good at programming (C++, python, fortran, and some others)--- As a physicist, not as a computer scientist. I had two internships in the last three years in two different...- Andromeda9010

Other Searching for jobs in the USA, should I quit?
So, I live in a micro-state and it is hard for me to get a decent job related to physics (BSc). First thing I did was applying to foreign companies and universities. I applied to many countries. I don't know why, but most of the jobs I found where in the USA, even though I was trying to avoid...- Andromeda9010

Teaching high school students for the first time
Thanks, I think I understand what you are saying. I heard that taking points from the students can help too "-2 points" for his bad behavior for example. What do you think? What am I nervous of? Well, students who are really not willing to study at all. No matter what points you subtract or...- Andromeda9010

Teaching high school students for the first time
Hello,I have been accepted for a physics teacher position in a high school. This would be my first job ever. I taught "tutored" students before in my home university for two semesters, and I think I am a good teacher. But, I feel that teaching high school students is totally different. I am not...- Andromeda9010
