You are the ruler of a medieval empire and you are about to have a celebration tomorrow. The celebration is the most important party you have ever hosted. You've got 1000 bottles of wine you were planning to open for the celebration, but you find out that one of them is poisoned.
The poison...
I really suck at physics, but I think that the forces exerted by the two springs should cancel each other out. So, the only thing which comes into play is gravitational potential energy. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Edit: I think have taken only the mass m into account.
Higher the frequency of the wave, more is the energy carried by it. A wave with higher frequency would have more energy, and thus more energy will be transferred to the electrons.
If we are talking about the magnetic poles, as far as I know, nothing would happen since both the poles are equally powerful, and they are virtually indistinguishable from each other. So, if the poles were interchanged, there would no effect on Earth.
I am not sure, but here's my two cents:
The angle between the line of acceleration of the prism and the line of acceleration of the block is equal to 90+theta degrees. Use vectors to work out the acceleration of the block with respect to the prism.
Light travels in vacuum with a constant speed which is equal to 299, 792, 458 m/s. It slows down when it travels through an optically denser medium such as glass, water, etc.
