Use of Design point for a gas turbine engine
BPR- Bypass ratio; FPR- Fan pressure ratio I am trying to develop a model of an existing engine and later, test the outputs with the original data. So first, I am looking to find the design point of the engine.- avinod4all

Use of Design point for a gas turbine engine
Thank you! I want to draw a design point for a turbofan engine using a carpet plot, can i draw graph to find out the design point just by using the range of BPR and FPR values?- avinod4all

Use of Design point for a gas turbine engine
In order to test the performance of a specific engine, is it necessary to find a design point? If so could anyone tell me how to find the design point for gas turbine engine and suggest any useful materials that gives good information about Design point performance. Thank you!- avinod4all

Has Anyone Designed a Four-Spool Engine?
Actually, we have three spool, two spool engine and single spool engines, how about the four spool engine? did anyone came across the design of four spool engine? I think adding an extra spool leads to increase in engine weight and becomes more complex in its mechanism.- avinod4all

Calculating Thrust in Propeller Engines: Can Anyone Help?
Hi, with the given conditions, thrust can be calculated by using the formula: Thrust = Mass airflow X (slipstream velocity-aircraft velocity). Below website has good information may be it helps you. http://www.flightlearnings.com/basic-propeller-principles-part-two/384/"- avinod4all
