Thank you for explanations. For #1, I thought as the potential difference, at inifinity potential is zero, and on the surface of the sheet it is also zero. So \int_{\infty}^{Sheet} \vec E \cdot d\vec l =V(sheet)-V(\infty)=0. Since the solution has to be unique, regardless of the path chosen...- babyeintein
