Insights Why ChatGPT AI Is Not Reliable
This reminds me of statistical machine translation (SMT), where the translation quality is (as I have observed) is heavily dependent and correlated on its training model and corpus. And I bet that there is no known SMT models that produces good translation on casual languages unless they are...- bagasme

Unofficial, broadcaster-specific World Cup sponsors
AFAICT, I don't see any FIFA regulations that prohibit that practice. Instead, in order to protect the World Cup brand, FIFA disallows ambush marketing. As it is written on brand protection page: Back to broadcast sponsors I mentioned earlier. I suspected that the drink water had ad campaign...- bagasme

Music Cover songs versus the original track, which ones are better?
And my favorite song, Firework! Original (upstream): My preferred covers: On Madilyn's cover, she just titled the cover as if it is the official upstream title designation (Firework - Katy Perry). The upstream then add distinguishing identifier ((Official Music Video)). I like the last...- bagasme

Unofficial, broadcaster-specific World Cup sponsors
I was confused when it came to sponsoring: did these local brands (Tokopedia and friends) actually sponsor FIFA World Cup the event worldwide or having publicity slot on particular TV channel as broadcast sponsors for transmission of the event by only that particular channel? Or put it another...- bagasme

Unofficial, broadcaster-specific World Cup sponsors
Hi, During World Cup event that was broadcasted on my local channels (e.g. SCTV), I noticed that the channel revealed its own broadcaster-specific sponsors before and after the coverage. These sponsors are: Le Minerale (drink water) Tokopedia (e-commerce) Gojek (online transport) Telkomsel &...- bagasme

ChatGPT Policy: PF Developing Policies for ChatGPT?
So I had recently played with ChatGPT. I started the thread about using so-called "cheek microphones" on musical theater productions. ChatGPT replied that these mics become commonplace in Broadway, but it boils down to director's preference and available budget. Then I tried to generalize to...- bagasme

Lingusitics Learning Target Language with Mother Tongue-subtitled Series
That's why I steered clear from watching foreign films and series on my TV; Indonesian subtitles are distracting. For average viewers they don't care about subtitles, but as ESL (English as second language) speaker, I can understand what English-speaking actors are saying, so I prefer no subtitles.- bagasme

Playing Video Games in a Language You Don't Understand
Yeah, that's why I preferred to play games in English nowadays.. I posted this post from my perspective as casual gamer. I remembered that during my times at high school, my school had Japanese lesson. My generation (class of 2019) didn't get that subject, but the preceding and succeeding...- bagasme

Playing Video Games in a Language You Don't Understand
Hi, I have PlayStation(R) 2 gaming console on my house. It is considered legacy per today's standard (as there are new-generation PlayStation(R) 5), but still popular here. One of games that I installed on the console is Sengoku Basara. The gameplay is similar to Dynasty Warriors, but I won't...- bagasme

Lingusitics Learning Target Language with Mother Tongue-subtitled Series
Hi, Supposed that Raul was learning Korean, because he would like to work with BTS and BLACKPINK's agency, which requires fluency in Korean. And let's assumed that his mother tongue language is Indonesian. After several months of courses and he adequately understood Korean, he decided to watch...- bagasme

Art I suck at practical art tests, but am excellent at theoretical art exams
I was just showing my art struggles, yeah because I'm more of left-brained (logical) than right-brained (artistry). So STEM is one of my strengths, and art is one of my weaknesses.- bagasme

Art I suck at practical art tests, but am excellent at theoretical art exams
Hi everyone, I was quite excellent at STEM subjects at school, but struggled (bad) at art classes. Here's why: At grade 9 of middle school, one of the job (assignment) that I had to perform in weeks was singing Amayadori by Mayumi Itsuwa. I and other students were given photocopies of music...- bagasme
