Undergrad What is the speed of decoherence and its predictions for coherent systems?
And i suppose that speed limit is less than c? Making that assumption based on the idea that the particles must need to be able to move close enough together using classical physics before they could adapt the ability to utilize entanglement effects that could affect the system? Does what I...- Binax011

Undergrad What is the speed of decoherence and its predictions for coherent systems?
Light moves at the cosmic limit, but c describes more than just photons. The speed of light isn't technically what c is, is just happens to be equal to it. Spacetime does expand faster than light, but it still does not violate the cosmic speed limit which is a proper termonogly when taking...- Binax011

Undergrad What is the speed of decoherence and its predictions for coherent systems?
Does anyone know or know of the general predictions of the speed at which of coherent system losses coherence to contact with a decoherence system? Is that speed limit faster than the cosmic speed limit?- Binax011

Graduate Why the inside of a box is coherent
So in isolating a system so that it is in superposition in a volume of space, why is it the inside of the box gains coherence and the outside doesn't? It seems to me either the inside and outside have non-symmetric properties, coherence is limited to a maxium volume or density of decoherent...- Binax011
