What Happens When You Integrate the Square of the Delta Function Over All Space?
Thank you for replying. \delta(t) is an energy signal. I'm trying to find out the energy of the signal. I wonder why the integral came out to be zero. I want some expert advice, whether I have done the integral correctly or not, or if there is some other explanations.- bishshoy007

What Happens When You Integrate the Square of the Delta Function Over All Space?
Homework Statement \int \delta(t)^{2} [SIZE="6"]dt from -infinity to +infinty Homework Equations \int^{\infty}_{-\infty}\delta(t)dt = 1 \int uv dt = u\int v dt - \int u^{'}(t)\int v dt dt \int^{b}_{a} f(x) dx = F(b) - F(a) \delta(-\infty) = \delta(\infty) = 0 The...- bishshoy007

Thevenin equivalent of a network
Homework Statement The question is to find the Thevenin equivalent of the network across the terminals a,b. The circuit is as follows:-- The solution is Zth = 12.166 angle(136.3*)ohm and Vth = 7.35 angle(72.9*) I can find out the Vth, that's easy. But I can get the Zth right coz there...- bishshoy007

Undergrad Focal Length experiment readings
Hello, I need help with the lens experiment, the aim of which is to determine the focal length of a concave lens by combining it coaxially with a convex lens. Given the focal length of the CONVEX lens is 15cm. and the focal length of the CONCAVE lens is 30cm. Can you give me a set of...- bishshoy007
